Faith Preceptory No.326, warranted in 1949, and Hope Preceptory No.560, warranted in 1990,
amalgamated in 2007.
Amongst the Preceptors of the Preceptory of Faith have been three Assistant Provincial Grand Masters;
two Provincial Grand Secretaries; one Deputy Grand Superintendent, and one 2nd Provincial Grand Principal
in the Royal Arch.
The Preceptory of Hope has had one Assistant Provincial Grand Master; one Provincial Grand Secretary,
and one Provincial Vice Chancellor.
The combined Preceptory has today amongst its numbers the Provincial Sub-Prior.
The ceremony of amalgamation was the first of its kind performed in the Province and was devised
especially for the occasion.
The combined Preceptories now serve the interests of Knights Templar in the Sale area
and enjoy close ties with the Preceptory of Charity 584, based in Altrincham, meeting every year ,
for a joint Malta Ceremony, the meeting hosted alternatively by each Preceptory.
